A little about me...

Thanks for visiting my blog. I started writing here two years ago as a way to update family and friends with the happenings of our growing family. The more I wrote, the more I read (other blogs and websites), and the less isolated I felt on this journey called parenting, or on a broader spectrum, life. The more I wrote the more necessary it's become for me to write. Writing has proven much cheaper than therapy. And along the way I've discovered, I'm not horrible at it, despite what my middle and high school report cards say. Hey, Mr. Casler. Can you deal with THAT?!

Though my writings most often center around my incredibly adorable children, the content will inevitably be shaken up in the near future as I'm about take on the title "working mom" and return to the (paid) workforce. Wish me luck! I let you know how it goes....

We Have a Plan!

I had an appointment today and things looked about the same as they were a week ago. So....we've scheduled an induction for next Monday, June 16th. Unless she doesn't stick to the plan, our little one should be here in five days! The good news is that we went to Red Robin for dinner tonight and seated next to us were six month old twins. Libby couldn't take her eyes off of them. She was soooo interested in their every move. It's looking promising that she likes the idea of being a big sister :)
