A little about me...

Thanks for visiting my blog. I started writing here two years ago as a way to update family and friends with the happenings of our growing family. The more I wrote, the more I read (other blogs and websites), and the less isolated I felt on this journey called parenting, or on a broader spectrum, life. The more I wrote the more necessary it's become for me to write. Writing has proven much cheaper than therapy. And along the way I've discovered, I'm not horrible at it, despite what my middle and high school report cards say. Hey, Mr. Casler. Can you deal with THAT?!

Though my writings most often center around my incredibly adorable children, the content will inevitably be shaken up in the near future as I'm about take on the title "working mom" and return to the (paid) workforce. Wish me luck! I let you know how it goes....

I realize today's post is picture overload, but we went for a great walk at the park today and then hit DQ on our way home for Libby's first ice cream cone. Note how she gets progressively dirtier with each picture. The whole event ended in the bathtub (only after Grunny cleaned her first).

Libby mistakenly calls stained glass "stankled ass". 3.2.10
Libby- "I love you, Mom." Me- "I love you too, babe." Libby- "And I love octopuses and sea lions." 1.20.10
While driving.... "Mom, If I see a sign that says Hippo Crossing, I will tell ya." -Libby 1.19.10
"Mom, I'm not a huge fan of spiders. I can't love 'em." -Libby 12.7.09
