A little about me...

Thanks for visiting my blog. I started writing here two years ago as a way to update family and friends with the happenings of our growing family. The more I wrote, the more I read (other blogs and websites), and the less isolated I felt on this journey called parenting, or on a broader spectrum, life. The more I wrote the more necessary it's become for me to write. Writing has proven much cheaper than therapy. And along the way I've discovered, I'm not horrible at it, despite what my middle and high school report cards say. Hey, Mr. Casler. Can you deal with THAT?!

Though my writings most often center around my incredibly adorable children, the content will inevitably be shaken up in the near future as I'm about take on the title "working mom" and return to the (paid) workforce. Wish me luck! I let you know how it goes....

Visits with Grandma Ruby and Aunt Amy

I was too tired to fill LIbby's pool on Friday night so she could splash around, so instead I just turned on the hose and let her go for it. She loved making mud in the back yard and putting rocks in her puddle.

Then, today Aunt Amy and Lucy came from Portland and Grandma Ruby made Spaghetti dinner for all of us. I managed to get a few things done in between feedings while they took care of Libby. This is a picture of Grandma Ruby with all three grandaughters, Libby, Peyton and Lucy.
