If a Picture's Worth a Thousand Words....

Then, I've got a novel here. I'm posting an insane number of pictures here, in an attempt to get up to date.

Peyton's first skinned knee.  Isn't she proud?  We grow 'em tough.
Libby loves to help me make bran muffins in the morning.
A new use for our skylight....

I had the girls dressed and ready to head out the door, when Shane walked out back and left the door open.  Peyton helped herself to a little pool time.
Peyton starts her morning with a cup of Cheerios.  This buys me some time until I can get a little coffee.
The girls help daddy with a weekend project, putting in a new walkway next to the driveway.
Libby with a new blanket I made her.  Check out my new (yes another new) site.  Click here.  I like the format of the new site as it's much simpler than Etsy.  Though, just as I was about to jump ship on Etsy I got an email that Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine wants to consider my Days of The Week Pocket Chart in an upcoming issue.  I guess I'd better stick around....
This is why pattern blocks are not developmentally appropriate for kids this age.
Has anyone seen a cave around here?
Just doing her thing.
The girls entertain themselves by pushing the buttons on Shane's fish finder at Fern Ridge.
It takes a good night sleep to end up with hair like this.
The dunes at Honeyman State Park.
Jamison wows Libby with his skills.
Grammy Jane is THE biggest kid in the family.

We had dinner with my mom, Julane and the boys at Honeyman.  The girls love to play in Grammy Jane's trailer.
A morning trip to the beach.  The boys are so good to our girls.

Back on the dunes.... The boys rented a sandboard and a sled to ride the dunes.  The girls got into helping wax.
Crabbing on the Siuslaw.
I love these next three photos.  Our girls love their dad.

The girls and I went to the fair with Becky.  Libby "drove" the fire truck.
Peyton got her face painted after Libby refused.
Libby's first fair ride.
Teeter tottering with daddy.
We had lunch with my friend Lynn (who I taught with) this week in her beautiful backyard.  The girls and I love seeing her garden every summer.  Peyton shows off her trophy carrots.
A yummy spread.
Out for a walk together.
Peyton feeds herself sweet potatoes.
Woof.  Our littlest canines have some fun in the garage.
