Thanks for visiting my blog. I started writing here two years ago as a way to update family and friends with the happenings of our growing family. The more I wrote, the more I read (other blogs and websites), and the less isolated I felt on this journey called parenting, or on a broader spectrum, life. The more I wrote the more necessary it's become for me to write. Writing has proven much cheaper than therapy. And along the way I've discovered, I'm not horrible at it, despite what my middle and high school report cards say. Hey, Mr. Casler. Can you deal with THAT?!
Though my writings most often center around my incredibly adorable children, the content will inevitably be shaken up in the near future as I'm about take on the title "working mom" and return to the (paid) workforce. Wish me luck! I let you know how it goes....
We had a great time this afternoon at the pumpkin patch. We went out late, and missed the chance to ride the horse drawn carriage out to the pumpkins, so we walked instead. I think the walk was the best part.
Sweet love from little sister.
I just got the game Connect Four for the girls. Peyton loves to drop the checkers into the slots. Ages 6+.....please. Heading out to find our pumpkin..... Got one. Heading back.... Feeding the goats is a favorite. Making a plan. Libby voted for SCARY over silly. Libby wasn't crazy about Dad's use of power tools, so she sat this one out. Concentration..... Observers.... The finished product. We've got him on the back deck where the girls could see his glow.
