I'm rewinding a bit to explain why I haven't posted anything new on the blog in awhile. So much to do, and summer goes fast!
Libby dives head first into her waffle cone (she calls it her pine cone) from TCBY. They have 99 cent waffle cones on Wednesdays, so this is what we had for dinner.
Fourth of July Pet Parade...Shane rode the bike with both girls. Peyton in front, Libby in back and Elmo bringing up the rear. After the parade Libby wanted to do it again.Crawling in the park after the parade.
Hide and seek with the boys. This was right after they ran a race in the park. The Heart Institute (my brother in law, Jim, is the director) sponsored the event. Libby crossed the finish line and kept on going.
A family pictute down by Mirror Pond.
After we left the park we went to my dad and Margie's to see the construction on their new house. It's really moving along and it was fun to see it as it's going up. Then, we headed to Gabe and Hollie's house. Libby and Peyton swam with Greyson while we chatted and then on to my mom's for a 4th of July BBQ. Grunny was happy to graze under the table, then he settled with his stick.
On Sunday we went to (Shane's uncle) Kevin and Susan's house for dinner. The girls had the best time running (crawling) around inside and out.
Kevin and Libby next to the pond.
Going in for refills.....
The porch swing...
Libby (the girl) using Libby's (the dog) dog door.
On Monday we went to watch Jayden's baseball game. Peyton just couldn't make it.
We came home Tuesday, and I went straight to the bathroom to put pig tails in Peyton's hair, as she has the same mullet libby once had.
Libby got to go to Build-a-Bear-Workshop to spend a gift card. Since we had so much fun on the fourth she chose a patriotic puppy.
Peyton climbed up on Libby's high chair under the table and got herself stuck. She could get up, but didn't know how to get down.
